Tired of hauling your own garbage to the landfill? We provide a convenient curb side pick-up service, that enhances the solidarity of country living.

For Your Added Convenience: If you have an extra bag or two of garbage, simply contact the office to make arrangements to ensure that we are able to accommodate the extra bags (extra fee may apply). For any large scale clean-ups and/or renovations we have 5 and 12 Yard Bin rentals available.

RECYCLING
CURBSIDE RECYCLING

We are now offering a weekly recycling program to parallel the existing programs that most urban communities are currently enjoying.

Curb side recycling service is now available to rural/residential customers! Much like the blue bin city system, we will be picking up recyclables, and there's no need to sort them. Please keep an eye out for our environmental ads and help us keep a greener community.

RURAL/RESDIENTIAL   CURBSIDE RECYCLING

GENERAL GUIDELINES THAT APPLY BOTH GARBAGE & RECYCLING REMOVAL:
Weekly service is billed quarterly and payment is due at the beginning (first of the month) of each quarter.
We accept cheques, cash, online banking, telephone banking, post-dated cheques, Visa & MasterCard (signature and C/C auth. required).
Please ensure that you remain within your weekly limit. If you have more than your weekly limits please contact the office to make other arrangements.
Extra garbage will not be taken unless prior arrangements have been made. If you are unaware of what your weekly limit is please contact the office.
Garbage/Recycling must be out at 8:00am - Route times can change weekly.
Please ensure dog and animal safety. Loose dogs are the owner's responsibility.
If required, make arrangements on garbage day to have your dogs tied or put in a pen if they are not safe for our drivers.
RURAL/RESDIENTIAL

WEEKLY CURBSIDE GARBAGE REMOVAL GUIDELINES:
We are not equipped to handle loose garbage; all garbage must be securely tied in standard size garbage bags. No loose garbage will be taken.
Cardboard must be broken down and secured and will be considered as part of weekly limit.
To avoid messes caused by animals and weather we recommend that garbage be put in a container. (We sell quality, pre-made 2' x 3' x 4' wood bins, an easy alternative to rolling plastic containers down the driveway every week.)
Please put small kitchen catchers etc. into one standard size garbage bag.
Bags cannot weigh more than 25 lbs. Bags heavier than 25 lbs. will not be taken.
UNACCEPTABLE MATERIALS (include, but are not limited to): Asbestos, Batteries, Chemicals, Electronics, Fluorescent bulbs/ballasts, Fuel, Hot materials, Medical waste, Oil, Paint, Propane tanks, Railroad ties, Toxic and or hazardous waste, concrete, brick & masonry block, asphalt, & shingles.

CURBSIDE RECYCLING

WEEKLY CURBSIDE RECYCLING GUIDELINES:
Cardboard must be broken down or it will not be taken. Extra cardboard will not be taken unless prior arrangements have been made.
Newsprint & Glossy Papers (Newsprint & inserts, flyers, TV guides, magazines, catalogues); White Bond Paper (blue or black inks only - Office ledger paper, computer paper, photocopy paper, lined school paper, laser print paper); Color Bond - Envelopes, blue prints, photocopy paper and wrappers, colored loose leaf and tablet paper, colored photocopy and bond papers, file folders (no plastic or metal), telephones message and Post-it-notes, telephone books, directories, boxboard (e.g. cereal, food, & soap boxes). Please put any shredded paper in a securely tied bag so it cannot blow out.
Household Metal cans and lids (rinsed, label off), clean aluminum foil products (crushed)
Used cell phones and their rechargeable batteries.
Hard Plastics #1-#7 - a rigid container, bottle or molding (detergent bottles, yogurt container, clear plastic). Soft Plastics - film or plastic bag (typical stretch wrap, shopping bags, garbage bags, etc).
Bottle Depot Recyclables (Bag separate) - Pop and beer cans, wine and liquor bottles, milk containers.
UNACCEPTABLE MATERIALS (include, but are not limited to): All types of glass; Ceramics; Waxed cardboard boxes; Books with glue or wired bindings; Wood; Polystyrene (Styrofoam egg cartons, packing chips, food containers, etc.); Tires; Propane/butane tanks; Automotive parts and batteries; Household Hazardous Waste containers.
